RAW PET STORE

INTRO

We were approached by a butchers shop to help them with their new endeavour – opening a raw pet food shop. They wanted to keep the new brand true to their roots in butchery. We provided them with a brand that was recognisable yet traditional, rolling out their marketing and packaging ranges.

BRANDING - PACKAGING - MARKETING

BUSINESS PROBLEM

A well-established butcher’s shop wanted to expand by opening a raw pet food store. While they had strong roots and recognition in traditional butchery, they needed help creating a new brand that reflected this heritage while appealing to a modern pet-owning audience.

The challenge was to develop a brand that felt authentic, recognisable, and connected to their butchery background, while still standing out as a professional and trustworthy name in the pet food market. This included creating a visual identity, marketing materials, and packaging that balanced tradition with a fresh, relevant look.

Utilising their current butchers shop as a ‘HQ’ gives their brand a more authentic feel.

BRAND IDENTITY

The new brand identity needed to be something that people would instantly recognise as pet food as to not mistake their re-opened butchers shop as a human butchers. So we utilised alot of traditional butchers signage, typography and image treatments to connect the two.

Colour palette was a strong factor in this rebrand as we needed to differentiate a wide range of meats. The new tone of voice became this straight talking messaging system that allowed them to border the lines of informative and disruptive.
